Artist Residency

Nominations are currently open for an artist-in-residence for February to June 2025, with significant flexibility to accommodate the availability of potential residents.
Photosynthesis is seeking professional or emerging artists that are passionate about their discipline and want to share this with our community.
Residencies allow artists the freedom to develop their artistic practice with free studio access to Photosynthesis.
Public programming led by the resident artist (workshops / talks / events) allow for opportunities to expose and develop visual narratives and techniques to a broad audience of enthusiastic and supportive people.
Residency funding includes free access to the Photosynthesis studio, and is likely to include event costs by further discussion. Stipends / grants are not directly provided. Funding will be sought in collaboration with Photosynthesis.
