We have signed the lease for a new home for Photosynthesis!

Come by on the day we get the keys and see our plans for the space and celebrate what we all achieved in 2025 as we look to the future.

We go from 80m2 across 3 units at St Asaph St to one massive 240m2 space:

• Studio 2x bigger

• Darkroom 2x bigger

• Dedicated photography exhibition space

• Digital workspace for editing, printing of  exhibition grade work and digital negatives

• Analog camera lending library

• Lounge space with zines and photo books

• Store with zines and prints made by our community

This will be a space where you can come and create, share and celebrate work, connection and hang out. Shoot, edit, develop, scan, make prints and zines, exhibit and sell - all in one place with barriers to access like cost lowered.
